but why is He our shepherd? what does a shepherds do?
Shepherd are the one looks after the flock. He leads them to water and pasture, tends their wounds, guide and calm them, keep them together, rescue them in pitfalls.
Shepherds was the sole provider of all that the flocks needed.
That is why the Lord is our shepherd, he is always looking after us and provides our needs. He heals us when we are wounded and calm us when we are in a panic. He rescue us from our pitfalls, from our sins, from our problems. He is our sole provider. Our shepherd love us so much that He gave His life for his flocks.
