Ever wonder why are we compared as sheep??
SHEEP is a valuable critter as a source of wool for clothing and food. It possess characteristics that is similar to men. It is single-minded,skittish and near sighted. If let on their own it will totally destroy their pasture.They are easily terrified and prone to wondering off from the flock. It is high maintenance, it requires constant attention and it repeat on wondering and getting to dangerous situations without ever learning to avoid them.
Sheep are very destructive to its surroundings if not guided it will definitely destroy its pasture, like humans if left alone they will totally destroy its environment. We are also prone to wondering around not knowing where to go, and we are very near sighted. We do not see the bigger picture,we only look on what is in front of us not knowing that it may lead to a dangerous situations. We need constant attention to behave good and to grow good. We are very high maintained creatures and of course like a flock of sheep have a shepherd in the pasture,we all need a good, patient, understanding and loving shepherd which is Jesus.
