Strive for Excellence not Perfection

Strive: It implies that we should practice it, keep at it, and not give up on it

What should we strive for??? Excellence or perfection

"Life is an evolving journey, whats seems perfect now, might be less than perfect the next", striving for perfection is impossible, for whats seems perfect today might not be true for tomorrow.Perfections can only lead to frustration, shame, and anxiety. Perfection kills the joy of doing anything for it cannot be accomplished.

We should strive for excellence: doing things in the best POSSIBLE manner. It does not tolerate second grade. Excellence measures a man by the height of his ideals, the breadth of his compassion, the depth of his convictions and the length of his persistence. Striving for excellence rather than perfection is stimulating and rewarding.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence,then, is not an act but a habit."Excellence demand that you be better than yourself"(T. Engstrom)

However,Human excellence means nothing unless it works with the consent of God. We should be with God in whatever we do. but how? We should only obey the Holy Spirit's instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you won't always be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants to do.
Gal. 5:16 ," So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh"

Appreciation

Ephesians 5:2 " Walk in love, as Christ also has loved us"

 To "Walk in love" is continually do act of kindness to others even small things,

Sharing, Giving, Helping, are just some act of kindness that we can do for others.

Appreciation is also one, but sometimes the simplest acts are the one we often do.

Appreciation can brighten up the day of the person and it can encourage him.

We can show our appreciation to our love one, friends and family by saying it to them verbally, but doing something for him/her can make it special and memorable.

here are some simple things we can do to appreciate :

>  An appreciation card from your heart

>  Giving gifts

>  Invite him/her for lunch

>  Lend a hand in his/her work

>  Give a hug

Doing simple things/small things that can give encouragement and thanks to someone is one of the best thing that we can do for him/her

"One little act of kindness can have multiple result"
